Chris received his Bachelors in Finance from Kansas State University. Since then he’s had a wide range of roles from retail sales management with AT&T to financial services with New York Life. It wasn’t until he started working for Cerner, 5 years after college, that he started to find his passion in computer programming. Over the last three years Chris spent an average of 20 hours a week developing machine learning skills after work. In the last year this has become part of his daily job as a Senior Data Analyst at Cerner. Now working towards a Master in Computer Science, his niche has become deep learning and computer vision. Chris will help lead Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence teams across KCAIL creating value for our research and business partners.
